Low Fat Diets Are Grossly Misrepresented

Robert Atkins and other writers argued that obesity was increasing because of our switch to low fat diets.   But their definition of Low-fat was 30% fat.  That is NOT low-fat.

Another thing that fat-promoters do is ignore the fact obesity has increased steadily…..through the “Low” fat 80’s, and the high-fat(Atkins) 90’s.

And they often make no distinction between the refined carbohydrates (sugar and white flour as commonly present in processed foods) and the natural carbohydrates present in plant-based foods.

Health circles are controlled by this public manipulation.   No one gets specific. I’m familiar with this pattern; it’s “politics”.

What I’ve found is, the diet has to be not just high-carb, but high-calorie, high-nutrient, and low-fat (fat sneaks up fast). This is where people go wrong. Even doing this right, people give up too fast. This diet works differently because it’s not a diet, it’s correct eating that takes time to correct the problems.

Humans are meant to eat a whole foods, plant-based diet that avoids added fat and processed and animal-based foods.   This diet contains about 10-12 percent fat, and it’s the natural diet of man (other primates eat mostly fruit and veg equaling 3-15% fat)

    They’re very convincing and may certainly work. Still, the posts are too quick for starters.
